The long wait for the final chapter of Gilmore Girls finally dropped Friday morning, meaning that millions of fans had something to be thankful for the day after Thanksgiving. Or they were really tired on the East Coast, staying up til 3 am to see that Netflix had uploaded the 4-episode season…
It also meant that those fans spent most (or all) of Friday in Stars Hollow, the quirky little town in Connecticut that Lorelai and Rory Gilmore called home.
When we last left our team on The Flash, Caitlin’s friends found out about her frost powers, Wally wound up cocooned by Alchemy’s magic and the “god of speed” Savitar had Barry on the ropes. Could this situation get any worse? Yes. Yes, it can.

I’m giving thanks today for a great selection of comics available today! Let’s take a look at what’s on offer this week.
For the last seven years or so, I’ve been a big fan of the NPR “quiz” show, “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me,” the weekly show where a panel of comedians discuss the news in a humorous way. I even had a chance to see a show live when I lived in Chicago. Earlier this year, while listening to “Wait, Wait…”, there was a commercial for another NPR quiz show, “Ask Me Another,” a trivia competition with regular people as competitors. I was hooked, and I was determined to become a contestant. I almost did it…
It’s the 30th annual Survivor Series, the annual November tradition for WWE! Tonight, Goldberg returns to take on Brock Lesnar. Plus, three traditional Survivor Series elimination matches as Raw and SmackDown Live go head to head!
As we kick off this Thanksgiving week, I am very thankful for all the people who check this site out regularly, and I hope that even more people discover it going forward. But more importantly, I have comics to review, with Superman dealing with the Super-sons coming together; Batman deals with a traitor; and Black Hammer gets a little weird.
We have a short week of content here, as I’m only working two days this week to prepare for an early Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday night. In honor of that, I’m trying to stuff as much of these turkeys in like mashed potatoes. Oh yes, I yam.

Wow, that was terrible. Anyway, today, we’ve got the close of the first arc of Kill Or Be Killed, a war between Alpha Females in Archie, the Trinity continues to be lost in a dream world and the second issue of the He-Man/Thundercats team-up you never knew you wanted.
Over the course of 30-plus years as a wrestling fan, I’ve been to a lot of live events, but last night was the first time for me at an NXT show. For the uninitiated, NXT is the “developmental” system for WWE, featuring guys new to the scene and independent veterans who are on board to help train the next generation.
On Wednesday night, NXT came to The Theater at Madison Square Garden, in advance of the big Takeover: Toronto show Saturday night.
