It’s quality over quantity this week – we hope – as DC Comics puts out new issues of some big books.

It’s a big week for Tom King. Not only do we get the latest issue of his STRANGE ADVENTURES maxiseries – as we continue to examine the actions of Adam Strange while Earth prepares for interstellar war – but we also get the first issue of his new series, Rorschach. After Geoff Johns brought the identity back into the comic book consciousness with DOOMSDAY CLOCK, we’ll have to see how King handles the character.

Speaking of DOOMSDAY CLOCK, the complete collection of the 12-issue series was released this week, and I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy. Johns’ big stories are great as chapters released regularly, but they always read better in a single volume. Hey, look at that, my birthday is coming up in just a few weeks…

The third big release on my radar this week is the fourth issue of DARK NIGHTS: DEATH METAL. DC Comics has released a series of related ONE-SHOTS over the last month, and now it’s time to get back into the main story.

Let’s take a look at what I’m reading this week:

BOOM! Studios
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow 4

DC Comics
Dark Nights: Death Metal 4
The Flash 763
Rorschach 1
Strange Adventures 6
Superman 26
Wonder Woman 764
