Happy birthday to the man who played Vizzini in my favorite movie of all time!
Look, I know Wallace Shawn has had a great career in Hollywood. He has almost 40 years worth of TV and film credits to his name, and he’s had memorable roles in MY DINNER WITH ANDRE, CLUELESS, the TOY STORY movies and so much more. But to me, he’ll always be Vizzini.
And today, Wallace Shawn celebrates his 75th birthday! Amazingly, he’s still working. Over the last few years, he’s managed to get close to a dozen roles in per year, adding an unmistakable presence to everything he’s in.
