It’s the day before my least favorite day of the year, so I’m stocking up on new comic books!
It’s an early April Fool’s Day as March 31 is the dreaded fifth Wednesday of the month, so the INFINITE FRONTIER takes a break and only The Flash gets a new issue. DC Comics continues to try and do right by Wally West after leaving out of continuity during the New 52 and then, well, you know… the HEROES IN CRISIS of it all.
Speaking of old stories coming back, DC Comics gives us one last FUTURE STATE story this week. The third issue of Mark Russell and Steve Pugh’s SUPERMAN VS. IMPERIOUS LEX gives us one final battle between the Man of Steel and his industrious arch-rival with the fate of Lexor hanging in the balance. With Russell’s penchant for political and social SATIRE, the chances for Lexor probably don’t look good…
As always, I’m buying my comics digitally, through Comixology. Most of the week’s new books are listed over at the PreviewsWorld website, though DC Comics’ new releases can be found on their own website. Let’s take a look at what I’ll be reading this week.
