Things are slowly returning to a new normal, but it’s all going to take some getting used to.
DC Comics is now releasing new material on Tuesdays – though this week was a bit of a light release and I wasn’t feeling anything that was put up for sale. The new selection of digital comics have been worth the 99 cent price tag, but I’m really missing the ongoing storylines I’d been following.
With Diamond announcing that distribution will resume sometime in the next month, we should see a more recognizable list of books set for release sometime around Memorial Day.
As for this week, I’m continuing to find ways to spend money. Let’s see what I picked up this week.
BOOM! – KaBOOM!
Wonder Pony – As I was scrolling through available comics to buy yesterday, my daughter saw this all ages title and demanded I buy it. I’m not going to discourage reading comics, so I did.
DC Comics
Batman: Gotham Knights 2
DC Superhero Girls: Infinite Frenemies 1
Superman: Man of Tomorrow 2
Wonder Woman: Agent of Peace 2 – A selection of 99 cent daily digital comics from DC should keep me busy for a bit.
Mister Miracle (collected edition) – On sale at Comixology, I finally decided to take the plunge and deep dive into this Tom King arc. I loved the first issue of STRANGE ADVENTURES and felt like I needed to read this, as well.
With that, I’m escaping the confines of the internet for a couple of days!
What are you reading this week? Let us know in the comments!
