This Week’s Comics – January 22

New Comic Book Day is here!

We’ve got a lot of great comic books to buy! New Comic Book Day is the best day of the week!

The pull list is starting to get a little healthier this week, hitting my limit of 10 books. It’s highlighted by the continuing story of Superman revealing his identity to the world in Brian Bendis’ SUPERMAN 19. Superman also plays a big part in the latest issue of BATMAN/SUPERMAN.

I’m also looking forward to the first issue of a new GHOSTBUSTERS miniseries from IDW, focusing on the untold tales of the first year of the guys in grey. I have yet to be disappointed in a ‘Busters series from Burnham and Schoening, and I’m sure this will be no different!

From beginnings to endings, the final issue of the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s AMERICAN GODS hits stands today. The three 9-issue miniseries have been so wonderful, I’m sorry to see it end.

For a complete list of this week’s releases, remember to check out the Previews website. I’m purchasing all my books digitally through Comixology, but if you want to find your local comic shop, click here.
