Labor Day is right around the corner, so the unofficial final weekend of summer is upon us! Spend it reading some new comic books!
Even though it’s coming out of the BATMAN WHO LAUGHS/Dark Multiverse stuff that I skipped out on, I am compelled to pick up the first issue of BATMAN/SUPERMAN this week. Superman is a must for me, of course, so I’m also picking up the latest issue of ACTION COMICS.
I’m excited for the latest issue of ANGEL from Boom! Studios, but the new companion series, BUFFY: THE CHOSEN ONES is going to have to be a pass from me. The series is exploring the legendary slayers of the past, and I would be interested in reading them, but the $7.99 price tag is just a bridge too far for me. I’ve been trying to limit my purchases and too many high price points are quickly going to turn me off.
