It’s that time again, when I finally get around to posting a new poll so I can watch more of my movies!
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.
Let’s take a look at what we’ve got this week:
Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) – The adaptation (for the most part) of the critically acclaimed comic book. As Batman hunts for the escaped Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime attacks the Gordon family to prove a diabolical point mirroring his own fall into madness.
The Grapes of Wrath (1940) – A poor Midwest family is forced off their land. They travel to California, suffering the misfortunes of the homeless in the Great Depression.
The Late Shift (1996) – A dramatization of the rivalry between David Letterman and Jay Leno to over which of them would succeed Johnny Carson as the host of “The Tonight Show”.
Seven Psychopaths (2012) – A struggling screenwriter inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster’s beloved Shih Tzu.
