For our last poll of the summer, we have four movies from the last two years to choose from, in the most recent poll we’ve ever had!
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.

BlacKKKlansman (2018) – Ron Stallworth, an African American police officer from Colorado Springs, CO, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of a Jewish surrogate who eventually becomes its leader. Based on actual events.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) – The Guardians struggle to keep together as a team while dealing with their personal family issues, notably Star-Lord’s encounter with his father the ambitious celestial being Ego.
Ocean’s 8 (2018) – Debbie Ocean gathers an all-female crew to attempt an impossible heist at New York City’s yearly Met Gala.
SHAZAM! (2019) – We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word – SHAZAM – this streetwise fourteen-year-old foster kid can turn into the grown-up superhero Shazam.
