After a brief hiatus, the Movies At Random poll is back, and hopefully better than ever!
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.
Let’s take a look at what we’ve got this week:
Clue (1985) – One of my favorite movies of all time. Six guests are anonymously invited to a strange mansion for dinner, but after their host is killed, they must cooperate with the staff to identify the murderer as the bodies pile up.
Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) – A group of intergalactic criminals must pull together to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to purge the universe.
Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) – With personal crises and age weighing in on them, LAPD officers Riggs and Murtaugh must contend with deadly Chinese triads that are trying to free their former leaders out of prison and onto American soil.
Thank You For Smoking (2005) – Satirical comedy follows the machinations of Big Tobacco’s chief spokesman, Nick Naylor, who spins on behalf of cigarettes while trying to remain a role model for his twelve-year-old son.
