April Polls Bring Random Movies

It’s been too long since we’ve had a new poll, but we’re back and we’re bringing the goods. Now it’s up to you to choose in which direction we’re headed!

Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.

Let’s take a look at what we’ve got this week:

Chasing Amy (1997) – Holden and Banky are comic book artists. Everything’s going good for them until they meet Alyssa, also a comic book artist. Holden falls for her, but his hopes are crushed when he finds out she’s a lesbian.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) – As Harry Potter begins his sixth year at Hogwarts, he discovers an old book marked as “the property of the Half-Blood Prince” and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort’s dark past.

Mr. Smith Goes To Washington (1939) – A naive man is appointed to fill a vacancy in the United States Senate. His plans promptly collide with political corruption, but he doesn’t back down.

Superman III (1983) – The first movie I ever saw in a theater! Synthetic kryptonite laced with tar splits Superman in two: good Clark Kent and bad Man of Steel.

You’ve got a few days to head over to Twitter and vote, so you should do that! Votes posted in the comments section here also count towards the totals.  LETHAL WEAPON won the last poll, so look for that flick in the next few days.
