The first season of AMC’s Preacher series wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, but I always felt like the series showed promise and had the feel of the Preacher comic book. But with the second season, I think everyone is expecting more from the show.
Putting Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy in a car and having them travel around is a good first step. And we got a silhouette of the Saint of Killers, which will hopefully be amazing. There’s more promise there. Now we’ll have to see if they can live up to it.
The second season of Preacher will debut on AMC on June 25.
