I’m up early this morning and ready to start my day right – by buying and downloading new comic books!
It’s a relatively small pull this time around, but there’s some pretty big releases. Even with a small batch of new comics, we have a lot of great stuff to read!
DC Comics’ DEATH METAL train continues to roll on, with the fifth issue of Scott Snyder’s latest big event series. That issue is buoyed by the latest issue of Justice League, which also takes place within the Dark Nights Death Metal world, as Nightwing leads a team of Titans (and Detective Chimp) to try and free the world from the grip of the Batman Who Laughs.
Speaking of NIGHTWING, his rematch with KGBeast – the man who shot him in the head – continues in the latest issue. Dick Grayson still has a ways to go before he can resume a normal life, but putting this behind him would go a long way to securing that goal.
The final big release on the DC front is the second issue of Tom King’s new RORSCHACH series. After a great first issue, I’m pretty sure this will be another series that will be great to read in one collected edition down the line.
