We’re still waiting on results to be finalized in the 2020 presidential race and as I continue to seek out a refuge that’s not been completely overtaken by politics, I will turn to my regular Wednesday addiction – new comics!

Of course, the comic I look forward to most – DC’s YOUNG JUSTICE – releases its final issue this week. Part of the big implosion post-pandemic shutdown, Young Justice is just one of the monthly comics that won’t be around when the calendar turns to November as DC starts to re-examine its publishing strategy. I’m going to miss a lot of the books that are going away, but I think I’m going to miss Young Justice the most. Hopefully, this sendoff is a fitting one – and some of the characters that Brian Bendis brought together here don’t disappear back into the void.

Releases this week also include two DARK NIGHTS DEATH METAL tie-ins: the latest issue of Justice League follows the not-Justice League as they follow Lex Luthor to try and free the Legion of Doom; and Dark Multiverse: Batman: Hush takes one of the most celebrated Batman stories of the 21st Century and tries to make it darker.

Let’s take a look at what I’m reading this week:
