What are you getting for Valentine’s Day? Is it new comics? It should be new comics.
The final issue of Hellmouth, the crossover between the new BUFFY and Angel comics is out today. After a phenomenal issue of Buffy last week, I’m really excited to see where the rest of the story is headed.
We also get the first issue of the four-issue Harley Quinn & the Birds of Prey, an attempt to tie in to the movie with a Black Label mature readers comic. I’m excited to see the film – I’ll get the chance eventually – and it’s got me excited enough to try a comic staring Harley, my least favorite DC Comics character.
Throw in a new issue of GI JOE – one of my favorite new comics of the last year – and this is a pretty good week for comic books.
