What kind of movie should I watch? Should there be puppets? Lots of CGI? Maybe a cartoon? Or maybe a small late-1990s independent film based on a play? It’s up to you!
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.
Let’s take a look at what we’ve got this week:
The Big Kahuna (1999) – Our third straight poll with a Kevin Spacey movie, though he’s not done all that hot in that time. This is one of my favorite movies, though. Two veteran salesmen dissect a sales pitch to a particular client, through their young protégé.
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (2011) – A DC Animated Universe feature. As the home planet of the Green Lantern Corps faces a battle with an ancient enemy, Hal Jordan prepares new recruit Arisia for the coming conflict by relating stories of the first Green Lantern and several of Hal’s comrades.
The Muppets (2011) – A Muppet fanatic with some help from his 2 human compatriots must regroup the Muppet gang to stop an avaricious oil mogul from taking down one of their precious life-longing treasures.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) – Three years into the Clone Wars, the Jedi rescue Palpatine from Count Dooku. As Obi-wan pursues a new threat, Anakin acts as a double agent between the Jedi Council and Palpatine and is lured into a sinister plan to rule the galaxy.
You’ve got a few days to head over to Twitter and vote, so you should do that! Votes posted in the comments section here also count towards the totals. JUSTICE LEAGUE won the last poll, so look for that flick in the next few days.
