Some really great movies are featured on this poll. You’ve got Batman. You’ve got a Superman who would go on to be Batman. There’s a film directed as a side project during the filming of Avengers and one featuring the Hulk, Skeletor and Rorschach.
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.
Let’s take a look at what we’ve got this week:
The Dark Knight (2008) – It’s legitimately shocking this hasn’t won a poll yet. When the menace known as The Joker emerges from his mysterious past, he wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham. The Dark Knight must accept one of the greatest psychological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice.
Hollywoodland (2006) – A detective examines the mysterious death of George Reeves, the star of the television series Adventures of Superman (1952).
Much Ado About Nothing (2012) – Filmed while Joss Whedon was directing the first Avengers movie. A modern retelling of Shakespeare’s classic comedy about two pairs of lovers with different takes on romance and a way with words.
Shutter Island (2010) – In 1954, a U.S. Marshal investigates the disappearance of a murderer, who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane.
You’ve got a few days to head over to Twitter and vote, so you should do that! Votes posted in the comments section here also count towards the totals. JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK won the last poll, so look for that in the next few days.
