Take your pick, pick your poison – whatever you choose, make sure you choose something.
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.
Let’s take a look at what we’ve got this week:
American Beauty (1999) – A sexually frustrated suburban father has a mid-life crisis after becoming infatuated with his daughter’s best friend.
Die Hard (1988) – The best CHRISTMAS movie ever made. John McClane, officer of the NYPD, tries to save his wife Holly Gennaro and several others that were taken hostage by German terrorist Hans Gruber during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.
LA Confidential (1998) – Another great Christmas movie! ‘Tis the season, right? As corruption grows in 1950s LA, three policemen – one strait-laced, one brutal, and one sleazy – investigate a series of murders with their own brand of justice.
Sense & Sensibility (1995) – Rich Mr. Dashwood dies, leaving his second wife and her three daughters poor by the rules of inheritance. The two eldest daughters are the titular opposites.
You’ve got a few days to head over to Twitter and vote, so you should do that! Votes posted in the comments section here also count towards the totals. G.I. JOE THE MOVIE won the last poll, so look for that in the next few days.
