Another week of news has come and gone. Let’s take a look at what’s happened over the last seven days.

Several outlets are reporting that Patty Jenkins has not yet confirmed a new deal to direct a sequel to the hit WONDER WOMAN movie. The hold-up? Jenkins wants to be paid comparably to one of her male counter-parts for a successful blockbuster.

According to Deadline:

“Why the delay? Because Jenkins — who was lauded repeatedly during the Women in Film Crystal Awards this year by several of its nominees — expects to be paid substantially more and the same as a male director would receive after such a box office coup.”

Seems fair to me.

Lucasfilm’s slate of Star Wars anthology standalone movies may soon include flicks focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett and Jabba the Hut.

Fresh off of dropping 8 episodes of The Defenders, Netflix has released a trailer for THE PUNISHER:

Former professional wrestler CM Punk has written a few comics since he left WWE, and he’s adding to his resume. He’s been announced as the writer of a MASTERS OF KUNG-FU one shot titled Shang Chi’s Day Off. The issue will be released in November.

Talk about this and whatever else is happening right here.
