Netflix has established a pretty good track record with its shows, and they have a new one coming this summer based on a fad of the 1980s: women’s wrestling!

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling – GLOW – was a women’s wrestling league trying to capitalize on the popularity of Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s, featuring over-the-top female characters going at it on a weekly television show. Capitalizing on it for a Netflix series may seem weird, but the concept could be a lot of fun.

The show has a pretty decent pedigree, with Jenji Kohan (Weeds, Orange Is The New Black) serving as a writer and an executive producer. Also on board is Allison Brie (Community, Mad Men), who is listed as starring in two episodes.

As seen in the clip above, GLOW premieres on Netflix June 23.
