Welcome to Thursday again, when we take a look at some trailers that we think you should check out! What are we teasing this week?

Some movies just look strange in the best possible way. For me, that’s Colossal. At first, it looks like it’s just a fairly typical monster movie. Giant creature attacks Seoul, etc., etc., right? Wrong!
Well…okay, yes, a giant monster is attacking Seoul. But, this monster is somehow, inexplicably linked to Anne Hathaway. It turns out that whenever her character gets drunk (which seems to be often), a Kaiju materializes on the other side of the planet and copies her actions. That’s about all there is to it!
Such a concept seems absurd but this trailer just makes it look ridiculously fun. It’s great to see Hathaway take on a less serious role and to be playing a bit against type! Throw in a cast that includes Jason Sudeikis, Tim Blake Nelson and Simon Pegg, and you’ve got a weird winner for the spring!
Colossal is scheduled to be released on April 7.
