A melancholy rock song in memory of Dolores O’Riordan.

One of the most tragic musician deaths last year was Dolores O’Riordan, the lead singer of The Cranberries. It’s always hard when you see such a talent lost before her time. But for fans of the band, there was enough recorded for one more album. “All Over Now” is our first taste of the group’s final project.

Musically, the track could slide right in alongside their top material from the 1990s. It’s a sharp, catchy rock tune with melancholic lyrics and some bitter notes. O’Riordan’s voice was still in peak form, as was her gift for tackling big topics both personal and political. After hearing this song, you’ll be both happy that her final work is getting released, but also saddened about her loss all over again.

“All Over Now” can be found on The Cranberries’ In The End, due out on April 26th.
