We’re celebrating Bastille Day this year in the best way possible – reading new comic books, including the second issue of the Infinite Frontier miniseries!
It’s been a few months since DC Comics began its new INFINITE FRONTIER, and we’re really starting to get into the story. The second issue of the Infinite Frontier miniseries is released this week. The original Green Lantern, Alan Scott, continues his search for daughter Jade and we get more information on the resurrection of ROY HARPER in this new reality.
As always, I’m buying my comics digitally, through Comixology. Most of the week’s new books are listed over at the PreviewsWorld website, though DC Comics’ new releases can be found on their own website. Let’s take a look at what new comics I’ll be reading this week.
Dark Horse Comics
Black Hammer: Visions 6
DC Comics
Action Comics Annual (2021) 1
The Flash Annual (2021) 1
Infinite Frontier 2
The Joker 5
Rorschach 10
Wonder Woman 775
Mad Cave Studios
Nottingham 5
Moving from comics to the screen, I’ve gotten plenty of other things to keep me occupied in the very few free hours I have during the day. On the DC Comics side of things, I’ll have reviews of the latest episodes of LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and SUPERMAN & LOIS (finally, it’s back!) this week. On the Marvel side, the final episode of LOKI on Disney+ is out now and ProjectBlue is all over it.
On Saturday, we’ll celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of my favorite Michael Keaton movies. And on Sunday, WWE is out of the Thunderdome for good as Peacock presents MONEY IN THE BANK. It’s back to the way things used to be, and it’ll be nice to have a full crowd again, but I’ll admit I kind of enjoyed the corporate event through WWE headquarters last year.
And last, but certainly not least, Joe will be back with his latest SONG OF THE WEEK.
What are you looking forward to this week? Talk about it in the comments!
