It’s hot as heck out there this week, so I’m staying in as much as I can with some air conditioning, comic books and some very geeky television!

The Joker surprisingly takes up two reading spots this week. First, we have the latest issue of the monthly series from James Tynion IV, with former Commissioner Gordon searching for the CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME at the behest of very rich people in Gotham. I’ve called this series a new favorite and I’m hoping for continued quality here.

In addition to that, we have the first issue of the new digital series, The Joker Presents: A Puzzle Box, which features more interactions between Joker and Gordon, but this time, the Commish is interrogating Joker at GCPD in the hopes of solving a heinous crime in a room filled with Batman’s rogues. It’s an intriguing premise made more enticing by the first issue already appearing on DC Universe Infinite, so members can read for free.

As always, I’m buying my comics digitally, through Comixology. Most of the week’s new books are listed over at the PreviewsWorld website, though DC Comics’ new releases can be found on their own website. Let’s take a look at what new comics I’ll be reading this week.

Dark Horse Comics
Black Hammer: Visions 5

DC Comics
The Joker 4
Rorschach 9
Wonder Woman 773

DC Digital Comics
The Joker Presents: A Puzzle Box 1

Mad Cave Studios
Nottingham 4

Outside of comics, we’ll have reviews and recaps of the latest episodes of LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and SUPERMAN AND LOIS – my two favorite CW shows – while also keeping an eye on the new Marvel Disney+ series, Loki. And, of course, Joe will be back with his latest SONG OF THE WEEK.

What are you looking forward to this week? Let us know in the comments!
