Only one movie will get the nod in our latest poll – and you get to pick the winner! Betrayal, magic, Nazis and high school seniors trying to get laid! What more can you ask for?
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.
Let’s take a look at what we’ve got this week:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) – As Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world, he teams up with a fellow Avenger and S.H.I.E.L.D agent, Black Widow, to battle a new threat from history: an assassin known as the Winter Soldier. Both THE FIRST AVENGER and CIVIL WAR have already won polls, so we’re looking at the Cap trifecta here.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) – It’s Harry’s third year at Hogwarts; not only does he have a new “Defense Against the Dark Arts” teacher, but there is also trouble brewing. Convicted murderer Sirius Black has escaped the Wizards’ Prison and is coming after Harry. Two other Harry Potter movies – the SECOND and SEVENTH – have already been featured.
The Monuments Men (2014) – An unlikely World War II platoon is tasked to rescue art masterpieces from Nazi thieves and return them to their owners.
Superbad (2007) – Two co-dependent high school seniors are forced to deal with separation anxiety after their plan to stage a booze-soaked party goes awry.
You’ve got a few days to head over to Twitter and vote, so you should do that! Votes posted in the comments section here also count towards the totals. WONDER WOMAN won the last poll, so look for those two flicks in the next few days.
