Our sixth poll in the Movies At Random series is up! Find out which movies are up this time around!

Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.

The Green Mile (1999) – One of the greatest film adaptations of Stephen King work, starring Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan. The lives of guards on Death Row are affected by one of their charges: a black man accused of child murder and rape, who has a mysterious gift.

Kinsey (2004) – A look at the life of Alfred Kinsey (Liam Neeson), a pioneer in the area of human sexuality research, whose 1948 publication “Sexual Behavior in the Human Male” was one of the first recorded works that saw science address sexual behavior.

My Blue Heaven (1990) – Loosely based on the life of Henry Hill – who was also the basis for Goodfellas – Steve Martin and Rick Moranis star in this comedy about an all-too-uptight FBI agent who must protect a larger than life mobster with a heart of gold, currently under witness protection in the suburbs.

Saving Private Ryan (1998) – The second movie starring Tom Hanks on this poll! Following the Normandy Landings, a group of U.S. soldiers go behind enemy lines to retrieve a paratrooper whose brothers have been killed in action.

There are your options this time around. In our last poll, ¡THREE AMIGOS! (be on the lookout for that soon) came out on top, so Steve Martin has a chance to go two in a row. But with two great Tom Hanks movies and a very interesting biopic, it should be an interesting poll. You can vote on our Twitter page right now!
