As we get closer to the release date to DC Comics’ biggest fighting sequel, NetherRealm has put out a new trailer for the game and announced a new character on the roster.
The new trailer, titled “Shattered Alliances, Part 1” focuses on the broken relationship between Superman – the original hero, turned villain in the first game – and his former closest confidante, Batman. We also get glimpses of Wonder Woman, Supergirl and others fighting in the game.
The trailer also is the official coming out party for Cyborg, the newest member of the Injustice 2 roster. The former Titan and current member of the Justice League becomes the 20th member of the roster to be revealed (21st if you count the DLC tease of Darkseid), with another 20 roster spots left blank on the Injustice 2 website. Who else will we get and when will we know the rest of the roster?
Injustice 2 will be released on May 16.
