It’s a giant-sized blockbuster fan-favorite seventh edition of the MOVIES AT RANDOM poll – which of these great movies will get the nod this week? It’s up to you!
Four movies, picked at random, are vying for the chance to be the next movie I watch and recap here at The Casual Geekery. Let’s take a look at the four movies being included in this latest poll, along with the synopsis for each movie.
The Godfather: Part II (1974) – One of the few sequels that is as good as – if not better than – its predecessor. The early life and career of Vito Corleone in 1920s New York City is portrayed, while his son, Michael, expands and tightens his grip on the family crime syndicate.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) – When Dr. Henry Jones Sr. suddenly goes missing while pursuing the Holy Grail, eminent archaeologist Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr. must follow in his father’s footsteps to stop the Nazis from getting their hands on the Holy Grail first.
The Muppets (2011) – A Muppet fanatic with some help from his two human compatriots must regroup the Muppet gang to stop an avaricious oil mogul from taking down one of their precious life-longing treasures.
Se7en (1995) – The first DVD I bought back in 2001, and one of my favorite movies. Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motives. Se7en in our seventh poll was just too good an opportunity to pass up!
