It’s Wednesday, which is New Comic Book Day, and I consider Wednesday to be the best day of the week.

For a complete list of this week’s releases, remember to check out the Previews website.

I’m purchasing all my books digitally through Comixology, but if you want to find your local comic shop, click here.

Another light week for me, with only a handful of DC Comics books that I’m interested in. Let’s take a look at what I’m buying this week:

DC Comics

Batman 30 – Another “War of Jokes and Riddles” interlude featuring Kite Man… as I wonder why I continue to spend money on this book…
Dastardly and Muttley 1 – Garth Ennis is writing a story about the two Hanna Barbera villains. No, really!
Green Arrow 30
Injustice 2 Digital First 22
Nightwing 28
Superman 30 – Superman and Sinestro, head to head!

Also of note this week, DC Comics is releasing a deluxe hardcover edition of Frank Miller’s BATMAN: YEAR ONE, featuring “introductions by Miller and editor Dennis O’Neil, reproductions of original layouts, promotional art, unseen David Mazzucchelli Batman art, Richmond Lewis’s color samples, script pages and more!”

Though, even with all that extra content, I think $34.99 for a story that ran four issues is a bit much.

If you’re looking for some cheap digital comics, Comixology is having a sale on the DC Comics work of GRANT MORRISON, with a lot of great single issues and collected editions on sale.

What are you looking forward to? Talk about it down below.
